Well hey there! I’m Bella.
I know meeting someone through a screen is a little strange, so think of this as our first coffee date before we get to hang out in real life. I’m a wedding and couples photographer who believes the best photographs are the ones that feel like you — the ones that bring you right back to a moment, a feeling, or a season of life you never want to forget.
I’ve always been drawn to the things that happen in between. The quiet laughs, the way someone reaches for their partner without thinking, the wind moving through a veil, the moments that were never planned but somehow become the ones you remember most.

A LITTLE ABOUT MY JOURNEY
I picked up a camera in 2018 and quickly fell in love with documenting the people and places around me. What started as a creative outlet slowly grew into something much bigger, and in 2023 I officially took photography full-time.
Since then, I’ve had the honor of photographing weddings and couples across the Midwest and beyond, traveling to new places and constantly being reminded why I fell in love with this work in the first place.
My approach blends a documentary perspective with an editorial eye — meaning I’m always watching for the honest moments as they unfold, while also stepping in when needed to create images that feel intentional, timeless, and true to your story.
Outside of photography, my life moves a little slower. I’m based in Iowa City, building a life with my fiancé filled with long conversations, quiet mornings, coffee runs, bike rides, and any excuse to get outside.
Some of my favorite days are the simple ones — packing up the car, wandering a trail, finding a new place to explore, or sitting somewhere beautiful and taking it all in.
That love for adventure is a huge part of why I’m drawn to photographing new places. Whether it’s a backyard wedding close to home, a mountain elopement out west, or somewhere completely new, I love the experience of stepping into a place and telling the story that exists there.
At the heart of everything I do is the same thing that drew me to photography years ago: paying attention. The little moments, the big feelings, and everything in between.
Because years from now, I don’t want you to just remember what your wedding looked like.
I want you to remember what it felt like to be there.
